Indeed Python for S60 version 1.4.5 currently is required to run Birthdays for S60. This Python version is officially only available for Nokia and Samsung devices.
I need to port Birthdays to Python version 2.0 that is Symbian signed and thus compatible with all Symbian devices, regardless of the manufacturer.
In the mean time you can try to search the internet for ‘unofficial’ Python for S60 runtime installation files with modified signing that can be installed on Sony Ericsson devices, too.
